Inform yourself. There are innocent people behind bars. America’s legal system cannot operate justly if we as citizens do not maintain vigilance. Authority corrupts. The system ought to protect us against that authority, not enbellish it.

The man she was “positively sure” did it… Is later proved completely innocent. …after he spent sixteen years in prison. 1.
